Beginning September 1, Mud Pie is lowering applicable standard freight rates for eligible wholesale accounts. Based on Finance-approved analysis, the new structure represents estimated average savings of approximately 40% compared with current freight charges.
The new rates apply automatically under the approved policy, giving you more room to explore the new Kids collection, build Spring 2027, and turn freight savings into fuller shelves, stronger assortments, and more of what your customers love.

Eligible wholesale orders placed on or after September 1, 2026 use the new matrix.

No enrollment, promotional code, or form is required.
2. We determine the applicable rate
The rate is based on your order total and the delivery zone for the shipping address.
4. Review your order
Your applicable freight charge is reflected as part of the order process.

When did the new freight rates take effect?
The new matrix applies to eligible wholesale orders placed on or after September 1, 2026.
Who is eligible?
All eligible Mud Pie wholesale accounts, including new accounts and accounts supported by OneCoast and CMA, automatically receive the new rates. Account-specific exceptions still apply.
How is my freight rate determined?
Your applicable standard freight rate is based on the order total and the delivery zone associated with the order’s shipping address.
Do I need to enroll or use a promotional code?
No. The appropriate rate applies automatically to eligible orders.
What if I use my own freight account?
Freight collect accounts will continue to be billed through their carrier and will not use the Mud Pie freight matrix.
Why might my actual savings differ from the examples?
Actual freight charges and savings vary by order value, delivery zone, shipment, shipping address, and account terms. Examples are provided for illustration only.
What states are in each zone?
Zone 1

What if I have locations in different states?
Freight will be based on the state where the order is being shipped. The billing address will not impact the cost of freight.
How will my orders ship?
FedEx is Mud Pie’s default carrier, so ground shipment orders will ship via FedEx. Orders that qualify to ship palletized based on weight may ship through a variety of freight carriers.
Are there any stipulations to be eligible for the freight matrix?
Yes. Accounts must be able to accept pallet deliveries. Additional charges may apply for lift gate or inside delivery services. The freight matrix is only valid for shipping locations within the contiguous United States. Mud Pie will ship directly to Hawaii or Alaska if the customer provides their own FedEx Freight Collect account number.
